Terms of Service

This is a product-stage draft of our Terms of Service, based on how Nyrolo Trust actually works today. It should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel — particularly for jurisdiction-specific requirements — before being relied on as a final legal document.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Nyrolo Trust, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

Nyrolo Trust is a website trust and security analysis service. It runs live technical checks against a submitted website — covering HTTPS enforcement, TLS certificate validity, security headers, redirect behavior, response time, domain consistency, and, where configured, external reputation signals — and combines them into a trust score and check breakdown.

3. Accounts

Running a scan and viewing your scan history requires a Nyrolo Trust account. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for the activity that happens under your account. Notify us promptly (Section 15) if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

4. Website Scanning

You may submit website URLs for Nyrolo Trust to analyze. Scan results are informational only. In particular:

  • Results reflect the site's state at the moment of the scan and may change over time.
  • Our security checks cannot guarantee that a website is safe.
  • A high trust score does not guarantee the absence of threats.
  • A low trust score does not, by itself, prove malicious intent.

Nyrolo Trust does not guarantee that any website is safe, legitimate, or free of risk. Use your own judgment before trusting a site with sensitive information.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Abuse, disrupt, or attempt to overload the Service or any site it scans
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems
  • Use automated means to bypass rate limits or other safeguards built into the product
  • Submit inputs intended to exploit, compromise, or attack Nyrolo Trust itself

6. Intellectual Property

Nyrolo Trust's website, software, branding, and content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding. We make no claim over content or trademarks belonging to third-party websites that appear in scan results.

7. User Content

"User Content" means information you provide to Nyrolo Trust, including account details, URLs you submit for scanning, and feedback you send us. You're responsible for the URLs and feedback you submit. We use User Content as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Third-Party Services

Nyrolo Trust relies on third-party infrastructure and services to operate — currently Supabase (authentication and database hosting), Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity (usage analytics), and, where configured, Google Safe Browsing (reputation checks). We are not responsible for the availability or behavior of these third-party services.

9. Disclaimer

THE SERVICE AND ALL SCAN RESULTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND ARE INFORMATIONAL ONLY. NYROLO TRUST DOES NOT WARRANT OR GUARANTEE THE SECURITY, SAFETY, LEGITIMACY, OR RELIABILITY OF ANY SCANNED WEBSITE OR BUSINESS, AND DOES NOT WARRANT THAT ANY SITE IS FREE OF MALWARE, FRAUD, OR PHISHING. A SCAN RESULT REFLECTS A SET OF AUTOMATED TECHNICAL CHECKS AT A POINT IN TIME AND IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR YOUR OWN JUDGMENT.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nyrolo Trust and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any decision made or action taken in reliance on a scan result. We are not claiming this limitation is enforceable in every jurisdiction — local law may grant you rights that cannot be limited by these Terms.

11. Availability

The Service may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, outages, third-party dependency issues, or other technical problems. We don't guarantee uninterrupted availability.

12. Changes to the Service

We may add, change, or remove features of Nyrolo Trust, or discontinue the Service entirely, at any time.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. When we do, we'll post the updated version on this page and update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Nyrolo Trust after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law / Jurisdiction

Nyrolo Trust has not yet designated a governing law or jurisdiction for these Terms. This provision will be completed as part of a future legal review; until then, no specific jurisdiction should be assumed to apply.
